Ten Horns
The ten horns appear on the seven heads of the Beast, or the Antichrist (see Revelation 17). Verse 12 clarifies that these ten horns are “ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but they receive authority as kings with the beast [Antichrist] for one hour”—a very short time.” These ten kings or powers had “not yet received a kingdom” during John’s day, the time of the sixth head, the Roman Empire. These ten horns are all on the seventh and final head, the Antichrist: “These are of one mind, and they hand over their power and authority to the beast” (Revelation 17:13, 17; Daniel 7:7–8, 20–21, 24–25).
