Parousia

"The Greek New Testament uses the Greek term parousia (παρουσία, meaning “arrival,” “coming,” or “presence”). The word is only used four times in the gospels, all in the 24th chapter of Matthew when Jesus discusses the signs of His second coming. In verse 3 the disciples ask “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of your coming [parousia], and of the end of the age?” (Other references to parousia can be found in Matthew 24:27, 37, 39.)"
