New Heavens and New Earth
The Earth today is clothed with its surface and its atmosphere, but at the end of the Millennium after the Battle of Gog and Magog, God is going to completely purge and purify them both by fire and renew and re-create a beautiful new earth and new heaven (2 Peter 3:10–12; Revelation 21:1). God will then re-create a “new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells” (2 Peter 3:13).
